Loving the Inner-Child

So here I am again learning new ways and unpacking some old ways to self-soothe that inner-wounded child. “I love you,” I say to her in morning meditation. She needs to hear this. I need to hear those three little words too.

I wake, meditate, walk or run outside, yoga and play the ukulele. This self-care takes almost two hours. It seems excessive but it is the glue that is holding me together during these challenging and transformative times.

How do you show up for yourself? How do you love you? When was the last time you unraveled your Yoga Mat or did that thing that makes you feel good?
